So, yeah, Heatherfeather, has given good advice. I have started over on Tempting again and am knitting the medium size this time. I'm glad, too, because I think that the large might slide right off my shoulders; indeed, I am wondering if any size of this pattern would slide right off my shoulders. I guess I'll find out when I'm done. Also, the worst thing that could happen with knitting the medium is that it's too small for me. If that turns out to be the case, I'll just find someone smaller than me to give it to.
So, I'm four inches into it this time, and, man this is fast knitting. I'm getting faster and faster. woohoo! I remember when I first started, I would sit at the knitting group and just stare at the other knitters in awe. I asked them how they got so fast. The answer was always the same: practice, repetition, "I got faster and better at knitting by—fancy this!—knitting!" So, now I see what they meant by that.
Knowing my luck, I'll run out of yarn anyway, even doing the medium size. hehe.
Boring blog. So, bite me.

it would be SO nice if sweaters stated the recommended amount of ease in the patterns - but i'm POSITIVE that one will look great and slinky and hott with negative ease, not to mention fit well and allow for the stretchiness of the yarn... and we can't have your sweater fall off, baring your bosoms when you're eating lunch in front of jebbie.
I'm commenting because it annoys me that it says "1 comments" instead of "1 comment."
i understand that - i wish more people would take that into account on my blog instead of leaving it at "1 monkeys agree"
